Please note: Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 10 people registered.
After registering, please drive to the lower level parking lot at CFS, you will have a virtual consultation with an attorney. Technology will be provided when you arrive.
FLAC HISTORY
The Free Legal Aid Clinic (FLAC) is an opportunity for individuals to receive private, free, and confidential legal advice and problem clarification from the attorneys from the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association.
Over 60 attorneys from the bar volunteer their time to the program and answer legal questions of all types. This services is made available by funding from Legal Services of Northern Michigan.
FLAC has been here to help since 1976. In 2019, 471 individuals were served and 70 attorneys volunteered their times-that is over 300 hours of pro-bono work!
The Free Legal Aid Clinic (FLAC) is a long-established service (every Tuesday since 1976!) provided by attorneys who volunteer their time to answer legal questions. The average commitment is approximately three hours one Tuesday night every six months. Rotations are scheduled every six months. GTLA members are encouraged to participate.
